Notice of Non-Discrimination and Anti-Harassment
Aloha Waipahu Elementary School Ohana,
My name is Kai Kuboyama, and I have the distinct honor and privilege of serving as the principal of Waipahu Elementary School.
This year, our theme is Hōkūpaʻa, the North Star, as our guiding theme. Just as ancient navigators looked to Hōkūpaʻa to find direction across vast oceans, we use it to anchor our actions, decisions, and purpose as a school community. Hōkūpaʻa reminds us that no matter the challenges we face, we stay steady, we stay grounded, and we stay true to our mission—to ensure every child learns, grows, and thrives.
As we continue this journey, I invite all of us—students, staff, parents, and partners—to look up to our Hōkūpaʻa, to remember our purpose, and to move forward together with courage and heart.
Mahalo for your support, trust, and dedication to our school. Let us stay anchored, stay focused, and continue to rise—guided by Hōkūpaʻa.
Kai Kuboyama, Principal
